Energy-Efficient Window Package - West Doral Single-Family Whole-House
This West Doral home still had its original 1992 single-pane aluminum windows - the frames conducted heat like a radiator, and the weatherstripping had hardened to plastic. We surveyed all 22 openings, specified ECO Window Systems vinyl replacement windows with dual-pane low-E and argon fill, and staged the install by exposure to minimize air conditioning loss. The measured survey documented each opening’s rough dimensions, plumb condition, and sill slope. Total project U-factor improvement: from 1.07 to 0.25.
